1HUTCH On Cannon Run Spring Break

1HUTCH On Cannon Run Spring Break

It was a 1HUTCH staff outing this year for The Cannon Run’s, Spring Break. Managing Director Neil, Production / Creative Lead Ash and Sales and Marketing Executive Kelsey all headed off to Edinburgh for a three day event on Friday 1st April, with a few stop-offs on the way!

The first day began bright and early as the 1HUTCH team met up with the rest of the entries in the Spring Break and they headed for the Three Sisters Circuit for a blast round the track.

All types of cars had signed up for the Spring Break this year from Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s to AMG’s and M Sports, it was an awesome eclectic mix.

Even the Joker joined in for the whole weekend, he rocked up in his McLaren and stayed in character the whole time.

After all 100 cars had done their fast track parade around the track, the whole team were off to the first hotel location.

The route that was taken ensured that everyone got to see the breath-taking scenery of the Yorkshire Dales. The twisted scenic roads meant a lot of fun for everyone involved. Roofs were down and engines were revved, as the weather was very much on side. Check out the video of the 1HUTCH car taking the hairpin bend … make sure your sound is on 😉

Once they arrived at the first hotel, which was an amazing 5 star luxury hotel, Neil, Ash and Kelsey enjoyed a 3 course meal and live entertainment from the very talented singers and pianists that joined them on Spring Break.

The next day, the 1HUTCH team were up and off towards the North Yorkshire Moors and the Kielder Area of National Beauty, passing through the Northumberland National Park and North Pennines AONB. They enjoyed a pit stop for freshly cooked pizza, besides a stunning lake. There were tepees and log fires, where the guys got a chance to catch up with everyone on the trip.

Pit stop over, it was time to get back in the cars and head into the main destination … Edinburgh.

Once all the cars had arrived in Edinburgh at the second hotel, everyone checked in and then hopped on to one of four, luxury 52 seater coaches provided by The Cannon Run and headed straight into the city.

Everyone had 2 hours to explore the sights of beautiful Edinburgh before heading off to a VIP club, with specially allocated private booths and bottle service to dance the night away.

The night owls certainly welcomed a lay in on Sunday morning, followed by a full English breakfast before heading off in convoy to the finish line.

The team headed to the East Coast, before heading South. There were some spectacular views of the North Sea, as the group took the scenic route to the final destination … JM Imports and the finish line.

With approximately 100 Nissan GTR’s and the JM Imports family on the finish line to welcome The Cannon Family, the atmosphere was electric! All 100 cars safely made it to the finish line having had the most amazing 3 day driving adventure.

Neil, Ash and Kelsey have spoke none stop about how amazing the experience was, how incredible the roads and views were, how lucky they were with the weather (it had been forecast to snow!) but most of all, how amazing the people were that they met and how they cant wait till the next event!
